Creating an Azure SQL Database

Description

In this lab, you will walk through the steps to deploy an SQL server and create an SQL database containing sample data. By the end of the lab, you'll have the skills to create an Azure SQL Database in the Azure Portal.

Lab Objectives

Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to:

•  Create an Azure SQL Database.
•  Create a server-level IP firewall rule.
•  Connect to the database.
•  Create tables in the database.

Lab Prerequisites

You should be familiar with:

•  Conceptual Understanding of Azure SQL Database.
•  You must have Azure Portal Access.
