Understand Network Security Group rules

Description

In this lab, you will walk through the steps to deploy a virtual machine and then understand the purpose of Network Security Groups by applying NSG rules using the Azure Portal.

Lab Objective

Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to:

•  Create a virtual machine
•  Allow RDP traffic via NSG rules
•  Allow HTTP traffic via NSG rules

Prerequisites

You should be familiar with:

•  Conceptual Understanding of Network Security Group rules.
•  Hands-On knowledge of Virtual Machines.
•  You must have Azure Portal Access.
