Working with Azure Event Grid

Description

In this lab, you will walk through the steps to create a storage account (event source), an Azure Function (event handler), and the Event Grid service.

Lab Objective

Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to:

•  Create a storage account.
•  Create a Function App.
•  Create a Function in the Function App.
•  Add an Event Grid Subscription to the Function.
•  Verify the Event Subscription in the Storage account.
•  Add a Blob to the Container.
•  Check logs of Function for the uploaded blob.

Prerequisites

You should be familiar with:

•  Conceptual Understanding of Event Grids.
•  Hands-On knowledge of Storage accounts.
•  Hands-On knowledge of Function App.
•  You must have Azure Portal Access.
